About the Photographer

Born in the Four Corners region of the Colorado Plateau, I spent my early years exploring in the area that later became the Bears Ears National Monument. These experiences and the love of the outdoors led me to the Pacific Northwest where the vibrant colors and stunning wilderness drew me to capturing and sharing what I was privileged to see.

I enjoy photographing wildlife and landscapes, from forests to oceans. I thrive on finding the small details the forest hides, but which makes this area so diverse. In contrast, I also look for industrial and examples of massive engineering feats to capture, and am always on the lookout for the old or abandoned structures. When I look at my pictures, there is always a sense of pride when you know the struggle to get an image, and the story behind it.

Recently relocated to Nevada from Oregon where I spent the last 14 years. I am so grateful and lucky that my husband supports my sometimes obsessive and all-consuming ideas, plans, and trips.

Thank you for taking the time to view my work.
